Saffron rice (Cholezard ) |

| This rice dessert is of Iranian origin. For garnish, add crushed pistachios. |

| 1. Mix saffron with a few spoonfuls of boiling water. Set aside. 2. Cook rice with warm water over medium heat. When rice is tender, add sugar and mix. Add saffron, cinnamon, almonds and the rose water. Stir continuously for 10 minutes. |
